KCs explosion protection equipment safety certification system
This system comprehensively examines the explosion-proof performance of dangerous machinery and equipment and the technology and production system of the manufacturer, protects workers' safety and health from harmful and dangerous working environments, and prevents occupational accidents.
Legal Basis
- Industrial Safety and Health Law Article 34 (Safety Certification)
- Industrial Safety and Health Act enforcement order Article 28 (machines and equipment subject to safety certification, etc.)
- The Industrial Safety and Health Law Enforcement Regulations Article 58 to Article 58-8
- Violation: imprisonment of up to 3 years or a fine of up to 20 million won
Person Subject to a Duty
Manufacturer (including the case of manufacturing abroad and exporting to the Republic of Korea) However, the importer can receive a safety certificate if it is imported to a quantity (10 pieces) or less specified and notified by the Minister of Employment and Labor.
