QAN / QAR Explosion Protection Quality Examination
ATEX QAN Quality Assurance Notice
This assessment is a quality assurance system that is mandatory for companies applying for ATEX EU-type tests in accordance with the EU and UK ATEX directives. In order to sell ATEX products in the European market, manufacturers must always have a Quality Assurance Notice (QAN) issued by a Certification Authority.
IECEx QAR Quality Assurance Registration
This screening is a quality assurance (manufacturing) system that is mandatory for companies that comply with IECEx requirements and apply for IECEx compliance certification. Companies that have an ISO 9001 quality system have been upgraded to be blast quality audited to EN ISO / IEC 80079-34.
The audit information of the above ATEX QAN and IECEx QAR are not so different. Both quality assessments should be carried out every three years and inspected every 12-18 months.
