  • Training of fundamental explosion protection knowledge and practical techniques to design electrical installations in explosive atmospheres.

Candidates

  • Candidates need to be certified with IECEx CoPC Unit Ex 001
  • Candidates need to have at least 2 years of work experience with electrical equipment installation or other explosion protection related occupation in hazardous areas

Assessment Criteria

  • The theoretical assessment consists of constructed and selected response questions. It is an open book examination, and the absence of keywords may be a deduction factor.
  • The pass mark for the assessment is 75% or more.
