What is Hazardous Substance Licensing?

Based on the Hazardous Substance Safety Management Act, we will design the factory, handling the place, storage, etc. for handling dangerous materials according to the optimum design required by the customer, and permit the installation and approval of the fire department using the competent fire department.

Terminology

  • Dangerous goods : articles such as flammable or ignitable articles as prescribed by the Presidential Decree.

  • Handling place : A place prescribed by the Presidential Decree to handle dangerous goods of a specified quantity or more for purposes other than manufacturing

  4. Sales Office : A place to handle dangerous goods of 40 times or less the specified quantity sold in containers
    • Class 1 distributor service: A place handling dangerous goods of 20 times or less the specified quantity

  1. Indoor store : Dangerous solid such as special phosphorus of 3,5 and 4 class dangerous goods mainly

Installation and Change of Dangerous Materials Facilities

  1. Those who are going to set up a factory etc. need the permission of the governor to control the setting place as prescribed by the presidential decree.

Process for Applying for New Hazardous Substances and Facilities

In Case of Non-Buildings

Structures such as outdoor tanks need to be reported to the city / county in advance, and outdoor stores, underground tanks, etc. should be reported to the fire department's dangerous goods licensing complaints department without being reported to the city / county.
